PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME HOUSEHOLD MANAGER-NANNY NEEDED IN RIVER FORST, IL 60305

This busy family has 2 children: 9 year old boy and 6 year old boy and is seeking a reliable, proactive and communicative Household Manager-Nanny to stay with their family long-term. Children are at school during the day so the position will be a mix of household management duties and childcare. Duties include: tidying up common areas, keeping kitchen clean/tidy, making beds, making the boys' lunches a few times a week, laundry, calling to schedule maintenance services as needed (ex: plumber, etc.), managing service people when they have to come, assisting with meal planning and purchasing the necessary groceries, running errands, organizational projects (ex: pantry, closets, etc.), pick children up from school, drive to/from after-school activities, ensure children empty their back-packs, hang up, hang up coats, etc., and play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with children. The candidate must have household management experience. The ideal candidate will be experienced, friendly and an excellent communicator. Mom works from home.

**Driving will be needed. Candidate can use family vehicle.

This is a long-term position for 5 days and 30-40 hours a week.

Work days and hours:

Option 1 (Preferred Schedule--30 hours/week): Monday-Friday: 12pm-6pm

Option 2-35 hours/week: Monday-Friday: 11am-6pm

Option 3-40 hours/week: Monday-Friday: 10am-6pm

*NOTE: Flexibility to come early in the morning--as early as 5:45am/6am a few times a year with advanced notice when mom is traveling. Flexibility to stay a bit later in the evening on occasion as well.

**Family has no pets.--However, family may get a dog in the future, so candidate should be comfortable with this. 

 

Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor--based on experience-- BEFORE TAXES
