PART-TIME NANNY-HOUSEHOLD MANAGER needed in LAKE BLUFF, IL 60044

This friendly family has 2 children: 1 year old boy and 3 year old boy and is seeking an engaging, communicative and active Nanny-Household Manager to stay with their family long-term. Children will be home on Tuesday and Thursday and children will be in daycare on the other day. The other day will consist of driving the kids to/from daycare and then doing household management duties at the home.  Duties include: getting children ready for the day, preparing healthy meals and snacks for kids, driving children to/from daycare (on the daycare day), drive children to/from activities, play and engage in several developmentally appropriate activities with the kids during the day--sports, games, toys, outdoors, sensory activities, reading books, singing songs, etc., take to parks, playgrounds, museums, library, etc., organize play dates, put children down for naps, tidying up common areas and keeping children's play areas and toys neat and organized. On the day where household management duties are expected, this will include: tidying up, dishes, laundry, make kids' beds, family laundry, run errands, organizational projects, pet care--feed dog, let out, take on walks, etc., and meal preparation for the family. Nanny must be very engaging and playful with the kids--getting on the floor to play with them, coming up with activities to do with them, etc. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, energetic, helpful and fun. Mom works from home on Mondays and Fridays. 

Work days and hours:

Option 1 (Preferred Schedule): Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday: 7:30am-5:30pm

Option 2: Monday/Tuesday/Thursday: 7:30am-5:30pm

Option 3: Tuesday/Thursday/Friday: 7:30am-5:30pm

*NOTE: Some flexibility for occasional evenings and maybe some rare overnights if available. 
 

*NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver and must have own vehicle for driving kids to/from activities and errands. Will get compensated for mileage. 

Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation (1 week align with family's), 6 national holidays, 3 sick days.
