Part-time Housekeeper Jobs

PART-TIME HOUSEKEEPER needed in EVANSTON, IL 60202

This warm family of 4 is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented and thorough Housekeeper to stay with their family long-term. Duties include: Deep clean and maintain the 2,500 square foot home (wipe down surfaces, dust, vacuum, mop, etc.), load/unload dishwasher, make beds, change bed linens and laundry-family and linens. If candidate is doing more hours 7-8, special cleaning projects (clean fridge, windows, oven ,etc.) or simple meal preparation would be added to the list. Housekeeper should follow the instructions of how the family would like the cleaning/schedule to be done. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable (know how to deep clean floor/what to use on certain surfaces, etc.), consistent and communicative. 

Work days and hours: 

Option 1 (6-8 hours/week):

2 days per week: 9am-12pm or 9am-1pm.  Flexible on the day -but no Fri/Sat/Sun. 

Option 2 (5-8 hours per week)

1 day per week: 9am-2pm, 9am-3pm, 9am-4pm or 9am-5pm. Flexible on the day-but no Fri/Sat/Sun.

*Driving not needed. Nanny does not need to drive at all.


Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor--Based on experience
