High-End Nanny Jobs

FULL-TIME NANNY needed in CHICAGO, IL 60614 (LINCOLN PARK)

This loving family has 1 child: 5 month old baby boy and is seeking an experienced, dedicated and engaging Nanny to stay with their family long-term.  Duties include: infant care (diapers, feeding, naps, etc.), get baby dressed and ready for the day, bathe baby as needed, prepare bottles, wash/sterilize bottles, prepare food for baby (when old enough to have solids), play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities (nanny should be knowledgeable about different ages/milestones to know what baby should be working on), take baby to nearby parks, playgrounds ,etc. , baby's laundry, keep common areas neat/tidy, keep baby's nursery/toys organized, rotate toys, load/unload dishwasher, help get meals prepared for family as time allows (ex: help get dinner prepped). Nanny should be very engaging and communicative during the day--talking to baby many times during the day (ex: reciting to baby what Nanny is doing). Nanny should also keep a daily log to share with the parents. The ideal candidate will be communicative, helpful, caring and flexible. Family is thinking of having another child in the future and is looking for someone to stay with them for many years who is also open to household management duties later down the road as child/children get older.
 

Start Date: Beginning of January

Work days and hours (40-45 hours/week):

Monday: 9am - 6pm

Tuesday: 9am - 6pm

Wednesday: 9am - 6pm

Thursday: 9am - 6pm

Friday: 9am - 2/3pm
 

*NOTE: The above is a general schedule. Hours will typically vary 40-45 hours/week. Some flexibility is needed here/there on the start/end times and flexibility to stay later on occasion.  

*NOTE: Driver's license preferred; but not a must. 


Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor-based on experience and credentials--BEFORE TAXES

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, 6 national holidays, 4 sick days
