AFTER-SCHOOL NANNY-MOTHER'S HELPER needed in WESTMONT, IL 60559

This active family has 3 children: 14-year-old girl, 12-year-old girl  and 11-year-old boy and is seeking a dedicated, organized and friendly After-School Nanny-Mother's Helper to stay with their family long-term. Mom is home and will typically tag-team the duties with the Nanny--ex: she might be with younger child while Nanny is taking the other to activities, she might be with the older kids, while nanny is taking youngest to the park, etc. so being flexible is key! 

Duties will vary but can include: drive children to/from activities, homework management--make sure they do their homework, make sure they get to their tutors on time, make sure back-pack is emptied, etc., prepare healthy snacks for kids, family laundry, load/unload dishwasher, meal prep--washing/cutting veggies and fruit, preparing after-school snacks, etc., organizational projects, encourage children to clean up after themselves, etc., feed and let dog out, engage with children in developmentally appropriate activities--ex: knowing what the kids interests are and engaging in those activities with them.  The ideal candidate will be reliable, trustworthy and organized. 

 Work days and hours:

Option 1 (16 hours/week):  Monday-Thursday: 3pm-7pm

Option 2 (18 hours/week):  Monday-Thursday: 2:30pm-7pm 

Option 3 (20 hours/week):  Monday-Thursday: 2pm-7pm

*NOTE: Flexibility to stay later on occasion. Flexibility to help with a few overnights a year would be a plus; not a must!

NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver. Nanny can either use own car or family vehicle. 


Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor

Benefits: 1 week paid vacation, 6 national holidays,  3 sick days.
