PART-TIME HOUSEHOLD MANAGER-NANNY needed in CHICAGO, IL 60640 (RAVENSWOOD)

This busy/very nice family has 1 child: 2-year-old girl and is seeking a calm, flexible, and patient Household Manager-Nanny to stay with their family long-term. Duties will be 70% household management tasks and 30% child care. Duties include: play with child (she is in daycare from 9am-5pm), family laundry, dishes, meal prep (meal kit service), organizational projects, putting groceries away, occasionally running errands (example: pick up prescriptions, store/package returns, drop off books at the library, etc.), put clean sheets on the bed, and keep the household running smoothly. Family lives in a townhome so candidate must be able to go up/down a lot of stairs. Family has a cat so MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH CATS! Care for cat will be filling water/food dish (indoor cat). On days the daycare is closed only child care will be needed and minimal household management tasks. Mom works from home 5 days a week and dad 3-4 days. The ideal candidate will be warm, friendly, and trustworthy.

This is a part-time position for 2-5 days and 15-20 hours per week.

Work days and hours:

**Family is flexible on the days (any 7 days of the week) and start (as long as it is not earlier than 8am) and end times**

NOTE: Household Manager-Nanny MUST choose one of these options as part of their schedule (these shifts will only be child care):

Option 1: one shift either Saturday or Sunday every weekend or every other weekend (flexible on start/end times)

Option 2: one day must be 4pm-8pm (flexible on the day) every week or every other week 

NOTE: Must be an experienced driver. Family will provide car to use. If candidate takes own car to/from work there is guest parking and free street parking.

NOTE: Available as needed for occasional date night is a plus but not a must!

Salary: TO BE DISCUSSED WITH PLACEMENT COUNSELOR
