PART-TIME NANNY-MOTHER'S HELPER needed in NAPERVILLE, IL 60540

This busy and loving family has 2 children: 3-year-old boy and 2-year-old boy and is seeking a helpful, mature and proactive Nanny-Mother's Helper to stay with their family long-term. Family is also due with a baby at the end of October. Oldest will be in morning preschool. Mom will be around 90% of the day and will tag-team with the nanny (ex: nanny might be with 2 year old while mom is with baby, nanny might be with baby while mom is with 2 year old, mom might run out to do errands and nanny is with all kids,  mom might be with kids while nanny is doing household duties ,etc. Overall-nanny needs to be flexible as each day will look a little different. 

Duties include: newborn care when baby is here (diapers, feeding, naptime, etc.), get children dressed and ready for the day, prepare bottles for baby, wash/sterilize bottles, prepare healthy snacks and meals for kids, play and engage with kids in developmentally appropriate activities, read books, sing songs, take to nearby parks, playgrounds, library, classes, etc., do family laundry, make children's beds, tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher and run errands as needed. The ideal candidate will be flexible, friendly and experienced. Dad works from home.

Work days and hours:

Option 1 (Preferred Schedule--31 hours/week): 

Monday: 8am - 4pm

Tuesday: 8am - 1pm

Wednesday: 8am - 4pm

Thursday: 8am - 1pm

Friday: 8am - 1pm

Option 2 (25 hours/week):

Monday-Friday: 8am-1pm

Option 3 (15 hours/week):  

3 days a week: 8am-1pm (Flexible on the 3 days as long as they are weekdays)

**NOTE: Flexibility to help with some overnights as needed would be a big plus--but not a must!

*NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver, family will provide a car to drive children to/from school and activities and to run family errands.


Family has 1 cat.

 

Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor--TAKE HOME
