FULL-TIME NANNY needed in CHICAGO, IL 60654 (RIVER NORTH)

This busy and loving family has 1 child: 6-month-old baby girl and is seeking an experienced, engaging and reliable Nanny to stay with their family long-term. Duties include: infant care (diapers, feeding, naps, etc.), prepare bottles and wash/sterilize bottles, prepare baby food (she just started solids. Family is doing baby-led weaning), load/unload dishwasher, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with baby and be knowledgeable about early childhood development to help her meet her milestones, read books, sing songs, sensory play, outdoor play, etc, take to parks, playgrounds, library, classes, museums, etc., and tidy up common areas. Parents work from home a few days a week. They will come down here/there to see baby. They anticipate having another child down the road so they are looking for someone to stay with them for many years. Nanny must have infant experience and have at least 5 years of Nanny experience. The ideal candidate will be professional, reliable, friendly and creative with coming up with ideas on what to do with the baby. 

This is a long-term position for 5 days and 40 hours a week.

Work days and hours:

Monday-Friday: 9am-5pm

*Note: Family could also do 8:30am-4:30pm
 

NOTE: It would be a big plus if Nanny can drive, but not a must. Parking can be provided if needed 

Salary: $25-$30 per hour BEFORE TAXES

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation (1 aligning with family's), 6 national holidays, 3 sick days.
