PART-TIME  NANNY-MOTHER'S HELPER needed in CLARENDON HILLS, IL 60514

This busy family has 3 children: 7-year-old girl, 6-year-old boy and 5-year-old boy and is seeking a reliable, patient and kind Nanny to stay with their family long-term. All 3 children have ADHD. Nanny should be very patient, understanding and comfortable working with them. Ideally someone with experience with children with ADHD would be ideal but not a must. 

Mom will be home in the afternoons and will be tag-teaming with Nanny. Duties include: drive to/from after-school activities, help with homework, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with children--games, arts and crafts, sports, outdoor activities, etc., take to parks, playgrounds, library, museums, etc., tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, laundry and some light help with the dog--feed, clean up pee pad, etc. If time allows/mom is with kids there will be household management duties which include: errands, meal prep/cooking, tidying up common areas, dishes, organizational projects, grocery shopping, family laundry, etc. 

The ideal candidate will be proactive, firm but loving, energetic, engaging and capable of working with children with ADHD. 

Work days and hours:

(20 hours/week): Monday-Friday: 4pm-8pm 

NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver, family will provide a car to drive children to/from school and activities and to run family errands.

Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, 6 national holidays, 4 sick days.
