AFTER-SCHOOL NANNY needed in CHICAGO, IL 60647 (BUCKTOWN)

This busy family has 2 children: 7-year-old boy and 5-year-old boy and is seeking a proactive, loving and communicative After-School Nanny to stay with their family long-term. Kids are in school until 3:45pm, so time before pick-up should be dedicated to household management tasks. Duties include: pick up children from school, homework help, engage and play with kids, take to parks, library, museum, swimming, etc. drive to/from after-school activities, dishes, laundry, prepare after-school snacks for kids, light cooking/getting dinner together, tidying up common areas, picking up clutter, organizational projects and run errands as needed--ex: dry cleaning, mail, Walgreen runs, etc. The ideal candidate will be engaging, active and dependable. Parents work from home.

**Spanish-speaking Nanny would be a big plus--to talk with children in Spanish with-- but not a must.

Work days and hours:

Option 1 (20 hours/week): Monday-Friday: 2pm-6pm

Option 2 (25 hours/week): Monday-Friday: 1pm-6pm
 

NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver, family will provide a car to drive children to/from school and activities and to run family errands.

Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor--based on experience

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, 6 national holidays, 4 sick days.
