AFTER-SCHOOL NANNY needed in OAK BROOK, IL 60523

This warm and busy family has 3 children: 15-year-old girl, 12-year-old girl and 10-year-old boy and is seeking a reliable, punctual and energetic After-School Nanny to stay with their family long-term. Duties include: pick children up from school, drive to/from after-school activities, prepare healthy snacks for kids, run errands, help children with homework, organize play dates, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with kids--games, arts and crafts, sports, etc., take to parks, playgrounds, library, zoo, museums, swimming, etc., make children's beds, tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, children's laundry, exchanges/returns, take family's vehicle to get services as needed ,wait for repairs/maintenance services as needed, pack/unpack and prepare dinner for kids. If Nanny chooses the split schedule, morning duties would be needed--breakfast, get kids off to school, come back, tidy up, do some household duties, etc. Reliability and punctuality is very important! The ideal candidate will be active, flexible, kind and trustworthy. 

Work days and hours:

Option 1 (25 hours/week):  Monday-Friday: 2pm-7pm

Option 2 Split Schedule (35 hours/week): Monday-Friday: 7am-9am and 2pm-7pm

Option 3 Split Schedule (40 hours/week): Monday-Friday: 7am-10am and 2pm-7pm

*NOTE: The more hours, the more household management duties there would be

NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver, family will provide a car to drive children to/from school and activities and to run family errands.


Salary: $30 per hour 

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, 6 national holidays, 3 sick days.

Family has no pets.
