Part-time Housekeeper Jobs

PART-TIME HOUSEKEEPER-COOK needed in CHICAGO, IL 60618 (ROSCOE VILLAGE)

This active family of 4 is seeking a trustworthy, reliable and communicative Housekeeper-Cook to stay with their family long-term. Duties include: light housekeeping (family has a cleaning service who comes once a week to do the deep cleaning), tidy up the home/clean up clutter, load/unload dishwasher, family laundry, store returns, help prepare and take down holiday decorations, assistance packing / unpacking family for trips,  other household maintenance (organizing cabinets, checking stock of commonly used items, etc), plan meals and create grocery list, grocery shopping, cook meals and meal prep (family is dairy and gluten free—would like a protein and vegetable with each meal—some examples include: salmon or steak and a vegetable, artichoke pesto pasta, etc.). prep lunches for the week (salads, etc.). The ideal candidate will be positive, adaptable and organized. Parents work from home. Nanny also in the home with children. 

Work days and hours (14 hours/week):

Tuesday: 2pm - 7pm

Thursday: 2pm - 7pm,

Saturday or Sunday: 9am-1pm 


Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor-dependent on experience 

Benefits: 1 week paid vacation, national holidays and 2 sick days
