AFTER-SCHOOL NANNY needed in BURR RIDGE, IL 60527

This well-organized and professional family has two boys (13y, 9y) and is seeking a reliable and proactive After-School Nanny to support their home during the after-school hours. The family has had nannies for the past 13 years and values long-term relationships. Both boys are in school full-time and have after-school activities that they need to be driven to. 

Duties include: pick up children from school, drive to/from after-school activities, children’s laundry, wash sheets and towels, prep food and cook simple family meals 2–3 times per week (other days prep only and mom will cook), walk family dog 3x/week (dog is in dog daycare the other 2 days), water plants, load/unload dishwasher, clean up kitchen after meals, make sandwiches/lunches for kids the night before school. Light errands and occasional grocery runs (mom handles most shopping). The ideal candidate is responsible, organized, and enjoys working in a structured, efficient home environment.

This is a long-term position for 5 days and 21.5 guaranteed hours per week (could increase to maximum 25 hours per week). 

Work days and hours:

Monday: 2pm - 7pm

Tuesday: 3:30pm - 7pm

Wednesday: 2pm - 7pm

Thursday: 2pm - 7pm

Friday: 3:30pm - 6:30pm

Nanny must be an experienced driver. Family prefers Nanny to have their own vehicle and will be reimbursed for driving.

Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor  = TAKE HOME

Benefits: 6 paid national holidays, 5 paid sick days, 2 weeks paid vacation (vacation must align with family’s travel schedule).

Family has one dog.
