PART-TIME NANNY-HOUSEHOLD MANAGER needed in CHICAGO, IL 60614 (LINCOLN PARK)

This friendly family has 3 children: 10-year-old girl, 7-year-old girl and 4-year-old boy and is seeking a calm, reliable and kind Nanny-Household Manager to stay with their family long-term. Kids are in school during the day, so a portion of the job will be dedicated to household management duties. Duties include: tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, family laundry, prepare healthy snacks for kids, prepare dinner for family, run errands as needed, unpack and put groceries away, meal prep--cut/wash fruits and veggies, open Amazon boxes/put items away, organize family photos, organizational projects, exchanges/returns, take family vehicle to be serviced as needed,  wait for repairs/maintenance services as needed, pack/unpack for trips, pick up kids from school, drive to/from after-school activities, ensure children get their homework done, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with kids---play games, do arts and crafts, read books, play games, play outside, take to parks, playgrounds, swimming, library, etc. Parents work from home 1/2 of the time. The ideal candidate will be flexible, a self-starter, responsible and organized. 

This is a long-term position for 5 days and 25 hours a week.

Work days and hours:

Option 1: Monday-Friday: 1pm-6pm

Option 2: Monday-Friday: 12:30pm-5:30pm + with 2 of the days ending at 6pm
 

**Nanny must be an experienced driver. Family prefers Nanny to have their own vehicle and will be reimbursed for driving. 

Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation (to align with family's vacation), 6 national holidays, 3 sick days.
