FULL-TIME NANNY-HOUSEHOLD MANAGER needed in WILMETTE, IL 60091

This  busy family has 2 children: 10-year-old boy and 7-year-old girl and is seeking a proactive, patient and flexible Nanny-Household Manager to stay with family long-term. Oldest child has ADHD--so Nanny should be very patient and understanding with him. Children are in school from 8am-3:15pm/3:30pm, so household management duties are to be completed during the times kids are in school. Duties will vary but can include: get children ready for school in the morning, take children to school, tidy up common areas, make kids' beds, take out trash as needed, load/unload dishwasher family laundry, run errands grocery shopping, schedule/oversee basic household repairs/projects as they come up, return packages, manage google calendar for kids' (school events, activities, birthday parties, etc.), meal preparation for the kids, organizational projects, pick up kids from school, drive kids to/from after-school activities, prepare healthy snacks for kids, ensure children do their homework, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with the kids--arts and crafts, sports, games, etc. and take to parks, playgrounds, library, zoo, etc. The ideal candidate should have household management experience, know how to take charge and get the tasks done independently, be responsible and positive. 

Work days and hours:

Option 1 (52.5 hours/week):

Monday-Friday: 7:30am - 6pm

Option 2 (45 hours/week):

Monday-Thursday: 7:30am-6pm

Friday: 7:30am-10:30am

*NOTE: Flexibility to stay later 1-2 times a month. Flexibility to help with very rare overnights if they come up. 

*NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver and will have to use own car to drive kids and run errands. Will be compensated for mileage. 

Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor--BEFORE TAXES

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation (1 week aligning with family's), 6 national holidays, 5 sick days.
