AFTER-SCHOOL NANNY needed in GLENCOE , IL 60022

This friendly family has 4 children: 9-year-old boy, 7-year-old girl, 5-year-old boy and 1-year-old girl is seeking an experienced, helpful and friendly After-School Nanny to stay with their family long-term. Youngest child is in school until 5pm, so the majority of the position will be with the 3 older children. Duties include: prepare after-school snacks for children, help children with homework, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with kids, take children to parks/playgrounds, swimming, etc., help with some driving as needed--pick up/drop offs, tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, run errands as needed, ensure children assist with household chores (have them pick up their toys, put backpacks away, make lunches for the next day, do their laundry, etc.) and help get dinner together. Dad works from home. Nanny should have experience working with school aged children and feel comfortable helping with homework. Family would like the kids to have a structure/routine after-school and help get the children in a routine of helping with consistent chores. The ideal candidate will be proactive, engaging and reliable. 

This is a long-term position for 5 days and 20 hours a week.

Work days and hours:

Monday-Friday: 2:30pm - 6:30pm
 

NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver, family will provide a car to drive children to/from school and activities and to run family errands.

Salary: $28-$32 per hour TAKE HOME

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation (1 week align with family's), 6 national holidays, 3 sick days.
