FULL-TIME NANNY needed in BARRINGTON, IL 60010

This loving family is seeking a sweet, engaging and responsible Nanny to stay with their family long-term. Family has 4 children: 5 year old girl, 3 year old boy, 1 year old girl and 2 month old girl. The two older children are in school during the day and there will be another Nanny there in the afternoon to watch the 2 other children, so the main responsibility of this Nanny is to watch the 2 youngest children. 

Duties include: newborn care (diapers, bottles-breastmilk, naps, etc.), play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with children, take to parks, playgrounds, library, etc., arts and crafts, read books, sing songs, tidy up common areas, tidy up toys, prepare breast milk bottles, wash/sterilize bottles, prepare solids when baby is old enough to have them, prepare healthy snacks and meals, load/unload dishwasher and children's laundry.  Mom will be around some of the time--especially in her off season April-Aug. While the job will primarily be with the 2 youngest, there may be some times that the Nanny will need to watch all 4 so must be comfortable with that. The ideal candidate will be mature, experienced watching multiple children, patient and reliable. 

This is a long-term position for 5 days and 40 hours a week.

Work days and hours:

Monday-Friday: 8am-4pm/9am-5pm

*NOTE: Flexibility as some days will be 8am-4pm and some days will be 9am-5pm

NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver, family will provide a car when driving is needed.


Salary: $28-$30 per hour TAKE HOME 

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation (needs to align with family's off time--between April and August), 6 national holidays and 3 sick days
