PART-TIME NANNY-HOUSEHOLD MANAGER needed in NORTHFIELD, IL 60093 (NEAR WINNETKA)

This loving family has 3 children: 9-year-old girl, 6-year-old girl and 6-year-old girl and is seeking a proactive, organized and warm Nanny-Household Manager to stay with their family long-term. Children are in school until 3pm so the hours where children are in school should be dedicated to household management duties; this position is about 50% household management and 50% childcare. Duties will vary but will include: family laundry, making beds/changing sheets, tidying up common areas and cleaning up clutter, putting toys away/keeping them organized, organizational projects (ex: front closet, toys, kids' closets, etc.), vacuuming as needed--ex: after meals, toy areas, etc., run occasional errands--target runs, groceries, returns, etc., meal preparation, let dog out as needed, pick kids up from school, drive children to/from after-school activities, help kids prepare their after-school snack, engage in screen-free activities with kids such as arts and crafts, games, sports, outdoor activities, etc., take to playgrounds, parks, etc.,  encourage oldest child to start homework, and get the children to help with the chores--ex: have them help with dinner, make their lunches the next day, pick up their toys, load/unload dishwasher, get their bags unpacked/packed for next day for school, etc. Family really would like the candidate to help get the children to help with the daily chores and responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have household management experience and have a take charge personality to get things done, be very loving with the girls, be engaging and tidy/organized. Dad works from home.

This is a long-term position for 4 days and 20-24 hours a week.

Work days and hours:

Monday-Thursday: 12pm - 5pm/6pm
 

*NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver, family will provide a car to drive children to/from school and activities and to run family errands.



Family has 1 small dog-mini goldendoodle

 

Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor--based one experience-- BEFORE TAXES
