FULL-TIME or PART-TIME PRIVATE CHEF needed in CHICAGO, IL 60614 (LINCOLN PARK)

This busy family of 4 is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Private Chef that is experienced in cooking Chinese cuisine to stay with their family long-term. The family consists of 2 adults, 1 child and 1 baby.  Duties include: meal planning, grocery shopping and sourcing quality and fresh ingredients (ex: if a recipe calls for fresh crab, finding a place that has live crab, going to farmer markets, looking for clean ingredients, etc.), preparing 2 meals a day and clean up after cooking. Sanitation and cleanliness while cooking is very important. The chef must specialize in Chinese food and is looking for simple but authentic dishes to be made. Quality and freshness of the ingredients is very important. The ideal candidate will be professional, efficient and experienced. 

Work Days and Hours:

Option 1 (40 hours/week): Monday-Friday: 11am-7pm or 12pm-8pm

Option 2 (30 hours/week): Monday-Friday: 1pm-7pm or 2pm-8pm 

Option 3 (20 hours/week): Monday-Friday: 3pm-7pm or 4pm-8pm OR Monday-Thursday: 2pm-7pm or 3pm-8pm

*NOTE: Chef should have a vehicle for driving for grocery shopping. Will be reimbursed for mileage. 

Salary: $72,800--$100,000 per year (based on experience and qualifications) 

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, 6 national holidays, 3 sick days.
