AFTER-SCHOOL NANNY needed in HINSDALE, IL 60521

This friendly family has 3 children: 5 year old, 6-year-old  and 9-year-old  and is seeking a proactive, engaging and reliable After-School Nanny to stay with their family long-term. Children are in school until 3:05pm, so part of the day will be dedicated to household management tasks. Duties include: tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, children's laundry, meal prep, making lunches for the next day, run errands as needed, help get dinner started, organizational projects, take family vehicle to be serviced (gas, wash, etc.) as needed, wait for repairs/maintenance services as needed, pick up children from school, drive to/from after-school activities, ensure children do their homework, ensure children help with chores, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with the children-arts and crafts, games, sports, etc., and take to parks, playgrounds, library, zoo, museums, swimming, etc.. The ideal candidate will be caring, thoughtful, active and punctual. Parents work from home a few days a week. 

Work days and hours (30 hours/week):

Monday-Thursday: 1pm-7pm

Friday: 1pm-5/6pm

+ Flexibility to stay later until around 9/9:30pm one time a week

NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver and can use family vehicle for driving. 

Salary: $28-$33 per hour 

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, 6 national holidays, 4 sick days.

Family has no pets.
