FULL-TIME NANNY-HOUSEHOLD MANAGER needed in CHICAGO, IL 60607 (FULTON MARKET)

This  fun-loving family has 2 children: 4 year old girl and 6 year old girl and is seeking a reliable, calm and organized Nanny-Household Manager to stay with their family long-term. Children are in full day school and camps, so the position will be a mix of nanny and household management duties. Duties will include: getting children ready for school in the morning (ensuring dressed, brush teeth, eat breakfast, school lunch, backpack, water bottle together, etc.), preparing snacks and meals for kids, cleaning up after meals, load/unload dishwasher, driving children to/from school, driving children to/from after-school activities, pack lunches for kids, meal prep (wash/chop fruits and veggies, etc.), organizational projects (ex: closet organization for kids, rotating clothes, organization of toys/bins, etc.), light housekeeping, family laundry, helping with grocery deliveries, run occasional errands-such as dry cleaning, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with kids when they are home-games, pretend play, arts and crafts, reading books, singing songs/musical instruments, playing outside, etc. and take children to parks, playgrounds, library, zoo, swimming, etc.. Family follows a gentle parenting approach with firm boundaries. Nanny should be comfortable following this approach and be very loving and kind. The ideal candidate will be punctual, creative, fun and communicative. Dad works from home a few days a week. 

NOTE: Nanny will have to use her car to drive children to/from school and activities and will get compensated for mileage.

This is a long-term position for 5 days and 40 hours a week.

Work days and hours:

Monday: 6am-9am and 2pm-7pm (split day)

Tuesday: 2pm-7pm

Wednesday: 6am-9am and 2pm-7pm (split day)

Thursday: 2pm-7pm

Friday: 6am-9am and 2pm-7pm (split day)

+Plus one weekday evening until 9 or 10pm to get hours up to 40/week.

NOTE: Flexibility on morning start/end times--it may shift a bit in the fall (ex: 6:30am-9am, 6am-8:30am, etc.). 

Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor-based on experience BEFORE TAXES

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation (1 week aligning with family's), 6 national holidays, 3 sick days.
