Part-time Housekeeper Jobs

PART-TIME HOUSEKEEPER-HOUSEHOLD MANAGER needed in CHICAGO, IL 60614 (LINCOLN PARK)

This kind family is seeking an experienced, trustworthy and friendly Housekeeper-Household Manager to stay with them for many years. Duties include: Deep clean and maintain the 6,000 square foot home, make beds, change linens, pick up clutter/put away, load/unload dishwasher, water the plants,  organizational projects, laundry, iron--as needed-typical men's shirts, household supply shopping. pet care--feed dogs, clean up after pets (throw puppy pad away, wipe down area, etc.) and drive child to school in the morning (17 years old--5 minutes away--drop off at school--given he's 17, this will only be needed for1 more year). Housekeeper should be proactive and know how to come up with a cleaning schedule/routine for the home to ensure it's fully cleaned (ex: daily, weekly, monthly checklists). The ideal candidate will be meticulous, kind and an excellent communicator. Their current Housekeeper is retiring after 15 years being with them, so they would love to find a candidate that is looking to stay long-term as well!

*Family has 2 dogs--2 small shih tzus .

Work days and hours:

Option 1 (18 hours/week): 3 days per week: 7:30am-1:30pm  (Flexible on the days as long as they are weekdays)

Option 2 (24 hours/week): 4 days per week: 7:30am-1:30pm  (Flexible on the days as long as they are weekdays)

**Flexibility to help with dog sitting a few times a year would be a big plus; but not a must!
 

NOTE: Driving will be needed in Housekeepers car and will be reimbursed for mileage.



Salary: Salary dependent on experience--to be discussed with Placement Counselor

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, 8 national holidays, 5 sick days
