Full-time Housekeeper Jobs

FULL-TIME HOUSEKEEPER (ESTATE LEVEL) needed in WINNETKA, IL 60093

This kind and busy family of 4 is seeking an experienced, organized and proactive Housekeeper to stay with their family for many years.

Duties include: Deep clean and maintain the 7,000 square foot home (daily housekeeping of main living areas and weekly and monthly cleaning tasks for other areas of the home), make beds, change bed linens, load/unload dishwasher, organizational projects and coming up with organizational systems, putting items away in the correct spots (ex: putting groceries away in the right places, putting everyone's clothes in the right drawers/closets, putting cleaning supplies away at the end of the day, etc.), family laundry, ironing/steaming as needed-ex: if shirts or sheets are very wrinkly, they will need to be ironed/steamed, pet care--let dogs out, walk dogs 2x a day, feed dogs, take to vet/groomer as needed, etc., occasional errands, and occasionally be able to help schedule vendors and be there for when they are at the home.

The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, trustworthy, kind and dedicated. Housekeeper-Household Manager will need to come up with their own cleaning schedule (daily/weekly/monthly, etc.) and be able to take charge and manage that independently. The home has some antique rugs and special dishes--ensure when vacuuming/cleaning they are handled with care and the dishes are handled carefully when cleaning and storing. Candidate should have experience in a large home/estate. Parent works from home. Candidate must love dogs!

*Family has 2 dogs-Golden Retrievers

This is a long-term position for 5 days and 40 hours a week.

Work days and hours:

Monday-Friday: 40 hours per week. Flexible on start/end times.

**Flexibility to help house/dog sit would be a plus; but not a must!


Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor-dependent on experience BEFORE TAXES
