High-End Nanny Jobs

PART-TIME NANNY-EDUCATOR needed in BARRINGTON HILLS, IL 60010

This busy and loving family has 3 children: 5 year old girl, 3 year old boy, 1 year old boy and is seeking a punctual, communicative and helpful Nanny-Educator to stay with their family long-term. Family is also expecting a baby in September. Mom stays home and dad works from home. Mom will be around, so Nanny must be comfortable with this. Sometimes Nanny is helping with the homeschooling with their 5 year old daughter, while mom is with the other children, sometimes Nanny will be with the younger children while mom or dad does the homeschooling with 5 year old, sometimes parents are with all of the children and Nanny is helping out with household tasks, etc. Overall, this person needs to be flexible as each day will look a little different. 

Duties will vary but can include: Assisting with homeschooling 5 year old (there will be a lesson plan that needs to be initiated), preparing snacks and meals for children, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with children, play games, arts and crafts, outside, sports, etc., take to nearby parks, playgrounds, etc., take swimming, drive children to/from activities as needed, tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, help with laundry as needed and help with baby care down the road--getting bottles ready, washing sterilizing bottles, etc. (if needed when baby is here). The ideal candidate will be attentive, engaging and proactive. An education degree is not a must. However, Nanny must be very comfortable doing lessons with 5 year old. 

This is a long-term position for 5 days and 25 hours a week.

Work days and hours: 

Option 1: Monday-Friday: 8am-1pm or 9am-1pm

Option 2 : 3 full days--flexible on the start/end time and the 3 days as long as they are weekdays

Option 3: 2 full days--flexible on the start/end time and the 2 days as long as they are weekdays

**NOTE: Flexibility to help with occasional date nights would be a plus, but not a must!

** Flexibility to travel with the family 1-2 times a year would be a plus, not a must!

NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver and family can provide the family vehicle to drive. 

Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor directly--based on experience
