High-End Nanny Jobs

FULL-TIME NANNY or NANNY-HOUSEHOLD MANAGER needed in CHICAGO, IL 60607 (WEST LOOP)

This active and friendly family has 2 children: 5-year-old boy and 6-month-old baby boy and is seeking an active, punctual, and communicative Nanny to stay with their family for many years. Oldest child is in school from 8am-3pm.  Duties include: infant care (diapers, feeding, naptime, etc.), bathe children as needed, get children dressed for the day, prepare bottles, wash/sterilize bottles, prepare snacks for kids, drive oldest child to/from school (sometimes parents will do this, sometimes nanny), play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities, read books, sing songs, play outside, play sports, do arts and crafts, take on walks, take to nearby parks, playgrounds, zoo, museums, classes, etc., do children's laundry, tidy up common areas, let dog out and load/unload dishwasher. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, engaging and helpful. Home has several flights of stairs-so nanny must be comfortable with this. Parents work from home a few days a week

***There is a 2nd option (which would be a big plus for the family) if Nanny is interested in doing household management duties-while oldest in school and baby is napping. These duties can include: family laundry and linens, grocery shopping, meal prep/start making dinner, iron and organizational projects.

**NOTE: Family is looking to move to the North Shore next Spring/Summer.

This is a long-term position for 5 days and 40 hours a week.

Work days and hours:

Monday-Friday: 9am-5pm

NOTE: Some flexibility with the schedule as needed. Some flexibility to stay later in the evening 1-2x a month. 

NOTE: Nanny will have to use her car to drive children to/from school and activities and will get compensated for mileage. 


Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor

Benefits: 20 paid days off (trying to align with families), 6 national holidays
