FULL-TIME NANNY-HOUSEHOLD MANAGER needed in CHICAGO, IL 60614 (LINCOLN PARK)

This kind and busy family has 2 children: 5-year-old twin boys and is seeking a loving, communicative and reliable Nanny-Household Manager to stay with their family long-term. Boys will be in full-day kindergarten, so the position will be a mix of nanny duties (when they are home) and household management duties (when they are in school). Boys have attended a Spanish immersion school, so are looking for a nanny that can speak Spanish fluently to continue to support their language development. 

Duties include: Light housekeeping and organization of the home, load/unload dishwasher, pet care-walk, let out, feed the dog, shopping for groceries and household items, running errands as needed, maintenance coordination as needed, simple cooking and food preparation for school lunches and family dinners (family eats clean, healthy/fresh foods and would like the Nanny to follow the same), family laundry, organizational projects, closet management for children's clothes, pick up children from school, drive to/from activities, preparing snacks and dinner for kids, ensuring children do their homework, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with children, read books, sing songs, play games, play outside, do arts and crafts, take to nearby parks, playgrounds, etc., and assisting with bath time with the children. The ideal candidate will be proactive, flexible, punctual and firm but loving. 

his is a long-term position for 5 days and 49 hours a week.

Work days and hours:

3 days: 7am-7pm

1 day: 1pm-9pm

1 day: 1pm-6pm

NOTE: Flexibility here/there with the schedule will be needed.  Flexibility to help out with additional hours on occasion, including overnights would be a plus-but not a must!

NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver, own care is a plus, but not a must.

Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor --BEFORE TAXES

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, 6 national holidays, 5 sick days.
