FULL-TIME HOUSEHOLD-MANAGER NANNY needed in WOODRIDGE, IL 60517

This busy family has 4 children: 15-year-old boy, 9-year-old girl, 8-year-old boy, and a 5-year-old boy and is seeking a mature, responsible, and caring Household Manager-Nanny to stay with their family long-term. Children will be summer camps and in school so household management tasks will be completed while they are there.  Household management tasks include: cleaning up after the family after morning rush (cleaning up after breakfast, cleaning up the kitchen, tidy up common areas, load/unload the dishwasher, etc.), make beds, light housekeeping (sweeping, wiping off table tops, put toys away, etc.), family laundry, organizational projects, running errands,  and cooking homemade dinners for the family (all fresh—not frozen, examples: meat and potatoes, chicken and rice and vegetables, casseroles, meatloaf, crockpot meals, etc.).  Childcare duties include: pick up children from camp and school and take to/from activities, go for walks, and help with bath time. Parents work from home occasionally. The ideal candidate will be hardworking, active, and communicative.

Work days and hours

Monday-Friday: 12pm-8pm

NOTE: Nanny must be able to stay occasional overnights. This will be during the fall-winter months. 1-2 times a month for 3-5 days consecutively.  Must also be available occasional date nights.

NOTE: Nanny must be experienced driver and will need to use own car for work purposes and will be reimbursed for mileage.

Salary: $28 per hour TAKE HOME (after a 3-month performance review—salary can go up to $30 per hour TAKE HOME)

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation (due to the family’s busy schedule PTO CANNOT be taken from April-September. Vacation will be accrued after 3 months employment at 1 day per month. Max accrued time would be 2 weeks per year), 6 national holidays, and 3 sick days
