FULL-TIME NANNY-HOUSEHOLD MANAGER needed in EVANSTON, IL 60202

This busy and active family has 3 children: 6-year-old boy and 2-year-old twin girls and is seeking a responsible, experienced and flexible Nanny-Household Manager to stay with their family long-term. Children are in school 8:30am-4:30pm, so hours before they get home will be dedicated to household management tasks. Duties include: light housekeeping, load/unload dishwasher, children's laundry, organizational projects, grocery shopping, running errands as needed, let dog out as needed, occasionally walk dog, prepare lunch for kids to take to school the next day, pick up kids from school (can walk to get them), prepare snacks for kids, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with children, play outside, plan playdates, do arts and crafts, read books, sing songs, take to parks, playgrounds, library, museums, swimming ,etc.,  prepare dinner for family (simple meals--pasta, tacos, chicken and veggies, etc.), and help with bath and bedtime (kids typically go down around 7:30pm). Parents work from home in separate offices. The ideal candidate will be trustworthy, discrete, proactive and an excellent communicator. 

 This is a long-term position for 5 days and 35 hours a week.

Work days and hours

 Monday-Friday: 1pm-8pm

NOTE: Flexibility to do full days when kids are off of school or home sick. This will be at least 15 days per year. Flexibility to help with overnights on occasion--typically 1 per quarter + 5 additional in a given year.
 

NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver, Nanny can use own vehicle and get reimbursed or family vehicle. 



Salary: $30-$35 per hour BEFORE TAXES

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, 6 national holidays, 3 sick days.
