FULL-TIME NEWBORN NANNY needed in CHICAGO, IL 60605 (SOUTH LOOP)

This busy and friendly family has 1 child: 2 month old baby girl and is seeking an experienced, reliable and flexible Newborn Nanny to stay with their family long-term. Both parents are Physicians and have a rotating schedule, so Nanny's schedule will vary week to week. However, Family will have the schedule 6 weeks in advance. Duties include: newborn care (feeding, naps, diapers, etc.), preparing bottles, washing/sterilizing bottles, bathing her as needed, changing clothes as needed, keeping nursery and play areas neat/tidy/organized, emptying diaper genie, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with baby (reading, playing, tummy time, singing, etc.), take baby outside, to nearby parks, playgrounds, etc., tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, take garbage out, check the mail, baby's laundry and vacuuming main areas/play areas as needed (if time allows). The ideal candidate will be punctual, extremely reliable (given the nature of the parent's jobs), loving and helpful. Nanny must be CPR/First Aid certified or willing to get certified. Nanny must be fully vaccinated: COVID, Flu, MMR, TDAP. 

Work days and hours:

Both parents are Physicians and have a rotating schedule, so Nanny's schedule will vary week to week. However, Family will have the schedule 6 weeks in advance. 

June Schedule: 

11 days per month. 11 hours per day: 10am-9pm. 

The Nanny will work 5 days in a weeks stretch; including 1-2 weekends at most per month. The 5 days will either be in a row or split. (example: Wed-Fri and Mon-Tue or Thur-Monday); typically with a week off after that. The 11th day of the month will typically be a flex day where the hours may be a little different--maybe a date night for that day. Exact schedule to be given 6 weeks before.

NOTE: Driving not needed. Nanny does not need to drive at all. However, parking will be provided if Nanny has a vehicle she needs to drive. 



Salary: $35 per hour BEFORE TAXES. Given the schedule will vary week to week, family can pay the average of the month in weekly increments. The monthly amount comes out to $4,235 per month gross/before taxes, which equates to $977.31 per week before taxes
