PART-TIME HOUSEKEEPER needed in CHICAGO, IL 60613 (Wrigleyville)
This kind family is seeking an experienced, detail oriented, and hardworking Housekeeper to stay with their family long-term. Duties include: daily light housekeeping tasks (wiping down surfaces, loading/unloading the dishwasher, taking out the garbage, cleaning the floors, etc.), weekly cleaning: deep cleaning the 5,000 square foot home, and household management tasks: family laundry, put away packages and mail, organizational projects, return packages, let vendors in, etc. Parents work from home on occasion. The ideal candidate will be active, communicative, and take initiative.
This is a part-time position for 3 days and 18 hours per week
Work days and hours:
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (family is flexible on start and end times as long as it is between the hours of 7:30am-4pm)—6 hours per day
NOTE: Driving is a plus but not a must! Can either use own car (mileage reimbursed) or family’s car to run errands when needed. If Housekeeper brings own car to work there is free street parking available.
Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor
Benefits: 2 weeks of paid vacation, national holidays that fall on a work day, and 4 sick days
