AFTER-SCHOOL NANNY needed in LAKE ZURICH, IL 60047

This loving family has 2 children: 8-year-old boy and 6-year-old boy and is seeking a reliable, kind and engaging After-School Nanny to stay with their family long-term. Kids are in school until 4pm, so the time before they need to be picked up should be dedicated to household management tasks for the kids. Duties include: tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, children's laundry, make children's lunches for the next day, prepare healthy snacks  for the kids, let dog out as needed, run errands as needed, pick up kids from school, empty their backpacks, ensure children do any homework that they have for that day, drive children to/from activities, prepare dinner for kids, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with kids--ex: games, outdoor play, sports, arts and crafts, etc., take to nearby parks, playgrounds, etc. and gives baths/showers to the children as needed. The ideal candidate will be patient, loving and takes initiative.

Work days and hours:

Option 1 (16 hours/week; Preferred Schedule): Monday-Thursday: 3:30pm-7:30pm or 3pm-7pm

Option 2 (20 hours/week): Monday-Friday: 3:30pm-7:30pm or 3pm-7pm

NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver, family will provide a car to drive children to/from school and activities and to run family errands.


Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor 

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, 6 national holidays, 3 sick days

Family has 1 large dog-Swiss Mountain Dog.
