This loving family has 2 children: 1-year-old girl and 5-year-old boy and is seeking a trustworthy and communicative Nanny-Household Manager to stay with their family long-term. Oldest child is in full day kindergarten and youngest is in school 3x a week. Duties will be a mix of nanny duties (when children are at home) and household management duties (when children are at school). Duties include: tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, pick up clutter, organizational projects, laundry, occasional errands, vacuum after meals (since 1 year old has food allergies this is a must to ensure she does not get a hold of any food/crumbs on floor), meal prep and cooking-1 year old has several food allergies--mom will provide the list of meals that need to be made and this person will prepare and store meals in the fridge/containers, and childcare when children are home-get children ready for the day/school (dressed, brush teeth, etc.), play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities, drive to/from school and activities, organize playdates, take to nearby parks, playgrounds ,etc., assist with potty training when youngest gets to that point,  The ideal candidate will be responsible, intelligent and loving. - Must be COVID vaccinated and have Flu shot each flu season. Must also be CPR/First Aid certified or be willing to get certified if hired. 

This is a long-term position for 5 days and 29 hours a week.

Work days and hours:

Monday-Friday: 7am-12:45pm 
NOTE: Could make a 7:30am or 7:45am start time if needed

Work days and hours:

Option 1 (3 days--18 hours/week):  Tuesday: 12pm-6pm, Wednesday: 12pm-6pm and Thursday: 12pm-6pm

**This is a unique position as family spends 50% of their time in Chicago and 50% of their time in Johnsburg. Family is also due with another baby in December. Parents both work from home and will be working some of the time and spending time with the child part of the time during the day. The Nanny-Household Manager should be flexible and work as a team with the parents for what they need that day--ex: some days might be more household management heavy, some days more childcare heavy and some days a mix. NOTE: Schedule will typically be somewhere between 30-40 hours per week. Start and end times will vary week to week so flexibility is needed. **Travel: Willing to travel with the family approximately 6-8 times per year. These trips can be split between the 2 nannies. The nannies can communicate with each other to figure out which trips they will do. Trips are typically domestic. Can be a week long trip, or a longer weekend trip. Some of the trips, just the parents will go on, and the nanny will stay at the home with baby during the week while parents are out of town.

The schedule will be split between 2 nannies to ensure there is full coverage for the family. Core hours are 6am-6-9pm.
