This busy and friendly family has 2 children: 4-year-old boy and 2-year-old boy and is expecting a newborn baby in April and is seeking a loving, reliable and active nanny to stay with their family long-term. Older 2 children will be in school starting this summer so majority of the day will be spent with the newborn at this time. Duties include: newborn care (diapers, feeding, naps, following schedule, etc.), prepare bottles, clean/sterilize bottles, prepare solids for baby when baby gets older, dress and get children ready for the day, prepare snacks and meals for older kids when they are home, drive children to/from school and activities (some days parents can do drop offs/pick ups, some days nanny will need to do this), play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities, read books, sing songs, play games, arts and crafts, sensory play, etc., play outside, take to nearby parks and playgrounds, etc., tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher and children's laundry as time allows. Mom will be on maternity for 12 weeks. Both parents are physicians and have had their COVID vaccines. Nanny must be adhering to all COVID precautions seriously. Nanny must also be up to date or willing to get TDAP and flu shot, and eventually the COVID vaccine when it becomes available to the nanny. Family is really seeking a nanny that is very creative, active and engaging with the children. Nanny should also be very punctual, dedicated and patient. 

This is a long-term position for 5 days and 55 hours a week.

Work days and hours:

Monday-Friday: 7am-6pm

NOTE: Typically, Tuesdays and Thursdays will end earlier, but flexibility to stay til 6pm as needed on those days. 55 hours/week will always be guaranteed.

Duties include: Light cleaning and maintain the 4,500 square foot home--they have someone that deep cleans, so this person will be primarily responsible for just tidying up the main living areas such as the kitchen and living room (clean up kitchen, wipe down counters, vacuum, mop, etc.), change bed linens, organizational projects, laundry, occasionally helping with meal preparation and occasionally helping with errands that may be needed. Mom works from home and both children are at home doing elearning. On the occasion, mom may run out for an errand and may ask this person to be there while the children are doing their elearning. Work days and hours:

Option 1 (8 hours per week): 2 days per week for 4 hours each day. Housekeeper can choose the 2 days (must be weekdays) and can choose the start/end time.

Mom stays home but is typically in and out throughout the day. Nanny should know how to work both independently when mom is not there but also as a team when she is around. The day to day will vary so flexibility is key. Some days may be more childcare focused, some days more household management and some days a mixture of both. *The family has a vacation home that they go to in the summer in Michigan. It would be a plus for the nanny to go with them a few times (there is a separate guest house nanny can stay in while there). This is not a must, though, if nanny is not able to do this.

This is a long-term position for 5 days and 40 hours a week.

Nanny-Household Manager for a family who splits time between Chicago (Illinois) and Southwest Florida

Family's summer residence is in Chicago Illinois. Family's winter residence is in Southwest Florida. 

This is a dream job for a nanny who has the freedom to reside in 2 locations, enjoys an active lifestyle and travelling (the family will arrange times for the nanny to take short trips back home to see her family). It is a live-in position while in Florida (nanny is provided with a bedroom and bathroom suite with an isolated entrance) and come-and-go while in Chicago (the nanny would do a short-term lease; if needed, a live-in option is possible in Chicago as well). If the candidate is from Florida and lives close to the family's home, the position can be come-and-go while in Florida. 

The family has a 3-year-old boy.  Both parents are high level executives who are able to work from home (at all times). The family resides in Chicago for 4-6 months and in Southwest Florida for 6-8 months per year.  While in Florida, the family leads a very active lifestyle that includes sports, outdoor activities, swimming, etc. They are looking for a proactive and energetic Nanny/Household Manager to care for the child and home. Nanny responsibilities include preparing healthy meals and snacks, organizing play spaces, planning, engaging in and playing with child in fun, educational and stimulating activities. House management responsibilities include light housekeeping, making beds, tidying living areas, grocery shopping, dishes, laundry, ironing, organizing the household, and assisting the mother in the kitchen. The nanny must be a team-player and also able to work well independently. Note #1: Cooking capability is preferred, but not required. If the nanny - household manager is able to cook, this responsibility would be split between the nanny - household manager and the mother. Otherwise, the nanny - household manager would assist the mother in the kitchen (chopping vegetables, preparing other ingredients, etc.)  

Note #2: The family's Florida home is located on the beach and has a swimming pool. The nanny must be able to swim. 

Note #3: The mother works part-time and takes an active role in raising the child, so the childcare duties will be shared between the mother and the nanny - household manager. 

Note 4: Applicable for the post-Covid time. The family takes several domestic/international trips per year (one trip lasting up to 1 month).  Accompanying the family on vacation trips is generally required (all travel expenses covered).  

Note 5: The Nanny must be an experienced driver with an impeccable driving record. Nanny's or family's car would be used for work purposes (car transportation from/to Illinois/Florida can be arranged).

This sweet family has 2 children: 10 month old girl and 3.5 year old girl and is seeking a loving, happy and easy-going nanny to stay with their family long-term. There is potential that older child will be in school full day, partial day or not at all--just dependent on what school decides. So nanny will either have just the baby during the day, the baby 1/2 day and both kids the other 1/2 of the day, or both kids full day. Family will let nanny know as soon as they have a word from the school. Duties include: get children ready for the day, infant duties (diapers, bottles, naps, etc.), preparing bottles, prepare meals and snacks for kids, engage in developmentally appropriate activities, take on walks, take to nearby parks/playgrounds, play outside, sing songs, read books, do arts and crafts, tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, children's laundry and drive oldest to/from school (if she ends up going to school). Nanny should have some knowledge of childhood development and what milestones look like for the ages of their kids. When/if things open back-up, family would also like the nanny to take kids to get some socialization--playdates, library, museums, etc. The ideal candidate will be very nurturing, an excellent communicator and active. If hired, must get CPR/First Aid Certified. Parents are currently working from home at the moment. 

This is a long-term position for 5 days and around 45 hours a week.

Work days and hours:

Monday-Friday: 7:45am/8am - 5pm

Family is also expecting their 3rd child in May. Duties include: prepare simple snacks and meals for kids, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities, read books, sing songs, play pretend, arts and crafts, sensory play, play outdoors, take to parks, etc., tidy up common areas, do children's laundry, load/unload dishwasher, bedtime routine when the nanny is there in the evening--dinner, bath, brush teeth, read books, bed and newborn duties when baby arrives (bottles, diapers, nap routine, etc.). The ideal nanny will have newborn/infant experience as well as toddler experience and feel comfortable managing multiple children. Nanny should also be very fun and creative, patient and an excellent communicator. 

This is a long-term position for 2 days and 15 hours a week.

Duties include: get children ready for the day (dressed, brush teeth, etc.), prepare simple meals and snacks for kids, drive children to/from school, activities, therapies, etc., help oldest child with elearning/homework as needed (kindergarten level), play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with children--arts and crafts, sports, sensory play, imaginative play, outdoor activities, singing, dancing, etc.,  take children to parks and playgrounds,  laundry, tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, organizational projects, run errands as needed and help get dinner started. Parents currently work from home and mom works part-time hours. Older child is currently doing elearning--she's very self-sufficient here--so would needs some check-in's throughout the day and help as needed with assignments (kindergarten level). Youngest child does have special needs--(she is non-verbal with some developmental delays. She struggles a bit going up/downstairs and is not potty trained so would need diaper changes throughout the day). The ideal candidate will be very patient, understanding and loving. Prior experience working with a child with special needs would be a plus but not a must. 

This is a long-term position for 4 days and 32 hours a week.

This loving family has 2 children: 6-year-old boy and 3-year-old girl and is seeking a kind, patient and communicative nanny. Older child is currently in a hybrid model for school--he is home doing elearning Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and goes in-person Thursday and Friday. Duties include: get children ready for the day (up, dressed, brush teeth, etc.), prepare simple and healthy meals and snacks for the children, drive children to/from school and activities, help older child with elearning and homework as needed (he currently is pretty independent with elearning, but does need some check-ins throughout the day, and assistance with reading, assignments as they come up, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with children such as games, outdoor play, active play, arts and crafts, sports, sensory play, etc, take to parks and playgrounds, do children's laundry, tidy up common areas and load/unload dishwasher. The family follows the Whole Brain child method and Montessori approach with their children (setting boundaries and focusing on things the kids can do rather than the things they cannot do, etc.) and would like the nanny to follow the same approach with their children.  Nanny should be energetic, creative and very engaging to come up with fun and active activities to do with the children. Parents currently work from home. 

**Family will need full-time hours until youngest goes to school in the fall. Position can start ASAP and go until August 2021. If nanny is interested in reducing hours in the fall, they can keep the nanny on long-term.**

This is a long-term position for 5 days and 49-52 hours a week.

This warm family has 2 children: 5 year old girl and 2 month old baby boy and is seeking a loving, responsible and engaging nanny to stay with their family long-term. The ideal nanny will be playful, engaging, educational, fun and nurturing. Duties will include: infant care (diapers, bottles, naps, etc.), bathe children as needed, prepare bottles, prepare solids for baby when he's old enough to eat solids, prepare snacks and meals for older child when she gets home from school, drive older child to/from school as needed (sometimes mom will do this, sometimes nanny will), play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with kids (ex: knowing how to play and engage with a baby vs. a 5 year old), do arts and crafts, read books, sing songs, take to nearby parks and playgrounds, do children's laundry, tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, run errands as needed and keep play areas and kids rooms organized. Parents are both working from home due to COVID. Nanny should be very creative, energetic and loving. Nanny should also be an experienced driver and be comfortable driving in the city as the older child's school is in Hyde Park. Nanny should also be taking COVID very seriously--following all necessary precautions, limiting circle and exposure, not attending large gatherings, wearing a mask if need to go out public (ex: grocery store), etc. 

This is a long-term position for 5 days and 40 hours a week.

Option 1:  Monday-Friday: 1pm-8pm + 5 hours either on Saturday or Sunday
