PART-TIME NANNY-HOUSEHOLD MANAGER needed in CHICAGO, IL 60614 (LINCOLN PARK)

This loving family has 3 children: 5-year-old boy, 3-year-old girl and 1-year-old girl and is seeking a flexible, engaging and friendly Nanny-Household Manager to stay with their family long-term. Mom stays home and is looking for someone to help her with a mix of household duties and childcare. Duties will vary day to day but can include: family laundry, tidying up common areas, cleaning up kitchen after meals, dishes, picking up clutter and toys and putting back in the right spots, organizational projects, run errands, take garbage out as needed, restocking household items (diapers, wipes, papertowels, etc.),  meal prep (sometimes just washing and chopping, sometimes following a recipe for dinner, sometimes fixing 5 year old's lunch for next day, etc.), play with children in developmentally appropriate activities--arts and crafts, sing songs, play toys, play outside, etc.), prepare snacks for kids, take kids to parks, playgrounds, library, etc., and  keep children's rooms' neat and tidy. Some days might be more household duties, some more childcare and some a mix--candidate should be helpful and flexible! The ideal candidate will be very creative and engaging with the children, easy to get along with, calm and patient. 

This is a long-term position for 16 hours a week.

Work days and hours:

Option 1: 2 days per week. 8:15am-4:15pm. Tuesday and Friday preferred. But can be flexible with any 2 weekdays if needed. 

Option 2: 4 days per week. 2pm-6pm. Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri preferred. But can be flexible with any 4 weekdays if needed.

NOTE:  Must be able to drive but a car is not a must. 


Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor- TAKE HOME 

Benefits: 1 week paid vacation, national holidays, 2 sick days 

Family has no pets.
