PART-TIME-OR FULL-TIME NANNY-HOUSEHOLD MANAGER needed in LIBERTYVILLE, IL 60048
This busy and loving family has 1 child: 3-year-old boy and is seeking an experienced, loving, friendly and flexible Nanny-Household Manager to stay with their family long-term.
At the moment, position will be 75% household management tasks and 25% childcare. However, this may shift down the road if family has another baby, and then it will be more childcare vs. household management. Overall, candidate must be flexible on this and experienced both with childcare and household management.
Duties will vary day to day but can include: childcare for 3 year old when mom goes to appointments or has meetings/work, dishes, laundry, tidying up common areas--picking up clutter, wiping down counter/table after meals, quick vacuum in high traffic areas/after meals, etc., take out trash/diaper pail as needed, putting away toys/keeping up with organizational systems, re-stock the house (groceries, household supplies, etc.), returns, organizational projects, meal prep--chop fruits, veggies, etc., possibly some light cooking--snacks, etc., getting mail, managing calendar/making appointments, pet care--(feed, let out, walk, take to vet, clean up after going to the bathroom, etc.), wiping down/vacuuming high chair, car seats, stroller ,etc., play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with child, read books, sing songs, plan activities/events for child's age, etc. and run errands as needed. Parent works from home.
The ideal candidate will have toddler and infant experience, be very patient and calm and be very proactive and independent with household management tasks. Nanny must be fully vaccinated, CPR certified, a non-smoker and does not use illicit drugs.
Work days and hours:
Option 1 (12 hours/week): 3 days per week. 4 hours per day. Flexible on start/end times. MWF preferred but can be flexible as long as they are weekdays
Option 2 (10-14 hours/week): 2 days per week. 5, 6 or 7 hours per day. Flexible on start/end times and flexible on the weekdays.
Option 3 (15-21 hours/week: 3 days per week. 5,6 or 7 hours per day. Flexible on start/end times. MWF preferred but can be flexible as long as they are weekdays
Option 4 (30 hours/week): Flexible on how the schedule is spread throughout the week.
*NOTE: Flexibility to increase hours down the road would be a big plus!
* NOTE: Nanny must be a safe driver and can use own car or family vehicle for any driving needed.
Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor--Based on experience--BEFORE TAXES
