PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME NANNY-MOTHER'S HELPER needed in GLENVIEW, IL 60025

This friendly family has 2 children: 1-year-old girl and 1-month-old baby boy and is seeking a flexible, energetic and reliable Nanny-Mother's Helper to stay with their family long-term. Duties include: Assisting mom throughout  the day, newborn care (diapers, feeding, naps, etc.), prepare bottles, wash/sterilize bottles, prepare healthy snacks and meals for older child, drive children to/from activities, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with children, teach letters, numbers, colors, etc. to older child, read books, sing songs, take kids to parks, playgrounds, museums, etc, take kids swimming in the summer, do children's laundry, tidy up common areas, keep toy areas organized,  load/unload dishwasher. Nanny will need to be comfortable tag-teaming childcare with mom. If Nanny chooses the full-time option, she will need to be comfortable going to grandma's home  and being around other family (grandparents, cousins, etc.). The ideal candidate will be easy to get along with, fun and engaging and works well both independently and as a team. 

This is a long-term position for 5 days and 40 hours a week. 

Work days and hours:

Option 1 (40 hours/week): Monday-Friday: 9am-5pm (Tuesday and Friday will typically be at the grandparent's house nearby, depending on the week)

Option 2 (27 hours/week): Monday/Wednesday/Thursday: 9am-5pm 

NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver, family will provide a car to drive children to/from school and activities and to run family errands.

NOTE: Nanny must know how to swim (Grandma/Grandpa have a pool at their home).


Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor-BEFORE TAXES
