PART-TIME NANNY-HOUSEHOLD MANAGER needed in NORTHBROOK, IL 60062

This easygoing family has 1 child: an 8-year-old girl and is seeking a structured, understanding, and flexible Nanny-Household Manager to stay with their family long-term. Duties include: light housekeeping, pick up her room, laundry, pick her up from school and take her to/from activities, snack prep, plan/make meals for her or pick up meals for her, assist with homework, and coordinate play-dates. Care for dog will only be on overnights (let out, walk, and feed). MUST LOVE DOGS! Dad works from home and mom works from home sometimes. The ideal candidate will be easygoing, friendly, and flexible.

This position is for 4 days and guaranteed 20 hours per week (NOTE: 95% of the time the position will be part-time. OCCASIONAL weeks could go up to 40 hours per week)

Work days and hours (example schedule):

Monday: 1pm-6pm
Tuesday: 4pm-8pm
Wednesday: 1pm-6pm
Thursday: 1pm-6pm

NOTE: Schedule is subject to change (example: the 8pm later day may be a different day depending on the daughter’s cheer schedule, Fridays as a work day would be very rare and family would provide advanced notice if it is needed)

NOTE: Occasional overnights are a must! Family anticipates no more than 2 times per month (will be during a week day and no longer than 2 consecutive days in a row). $150 per overnight.

NOTE: Occasional weekends for date night is a plus but not a must!

NOTE: Nanny-Household Manager will need to use own car to drive the child and will be reimbursed for mileage.

Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor
