Part-time Housekeeper Jobs

PART-TIME HOUSEKEEPER needed in CHICAGO, IL 60618 (Roscoe Village)

This kind family of 4 is seeking an independent, neat, and tidy Housekeeper to stay with their family long-term. Family has a Housekeeper who comes every other week to do the deep cleaning so the priority for this position is the upkeep of the main floor to ensure a calm, clutter-free environment. Duties include: clearing and wiping down all kitchen counters, dining tables, coffee tables, and other flat surfaces, vacuuming all floors; ensuring the landing and entryway are clear of shoes, mail, or debris, identifying items left on floors or tables and returning them to their proper storage locations, loading/unloading the dishwasher and ensuring sinks are clear, and regular removal of trash, recycling, and cardboard boxes to appropriate bins/collection points. Dad works from home on Fridays and mom is home for the summer and will be in/out (Nanny is also there to take care of the children). The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, self-confident, and organized.

This is a part-time position for 2 days and 8 hours per week

Work days and hours:

 2 days a week (flexible on days as long as they are during week days, not on Tuesdays, and not 2 days in a row) for 4 hours each day (flexible on start/end times as long as they are between the hours of 7am-5pm)

NOTE: No driving is needed for this position however, if Housekeeper takes own car to/from work there is free street parking available.

Salary: TO BE DISCUSSED WITH PLACEMENT COUNSELOR

Benefits: 5 days of PTO and national holidays if they fall on a work day
