AFTER-SCHOOL NANNY needed in CHICAGO, IL 60657 (LAKEVIEW)

This loving blended family has 2 children: 4-year-old boy and 5-year-old girl and is seeking a flexible, reliable and fun After-School Nanny to stay with their family long-term. Duties include pick up children from school (currently both are at different schools), drive to/from after-school activities, prepare healthy after-school snacks for children, ensure they empty their backpacks, empty lunches, do any homework (older child), etc., pack lunches for children for the next day, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities with the kids, play games, do arts and crafts, take to parks, playgrounds, etc., do children's laundry, tidy up common areas, organizational projects, load/unload dishwasher, run errands as needed, grocery shopping/putting away as needed, let dog out as needed--when dog is there, and get dinner together for the kids. The ideal candidate is loving, an excellent communicator and proactive.  Parent works from home sometimes.

This is a long-term position for 5 days and 20 hours a week.

Work days and hours:

Monday-Friday: 2pm-6pm or 2:30pm-6:30pm

NOTE: Some flexibility to shift hours later on occasion and occasional weekends (for date nights, etc.). 
NOTE: Driving needed in Nanny's vehicle. Mileage will be reimbursed.

Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor

Benefits: 1 week paid vacation, 6 national holidays and 2 sick days
