FULL-TIME NANNY-HOUSEHOLD MANAGER needed in LINDENHURST, IL 60046

This nice and busy family has 2 children: 6-year-old girl and an 11-year-old boy and is seeking a hardworking, engaging, and organized Nanny-Household Manager to stay with their family long-term. Duties include: pick up toys, do the dishes, run errands, start meals, laundry, organizational projects, walk the dog, help clean out pet cages (dog, cat, guinea pig) take children to/from activities, take them to the pool in the summer (Nanny just must be comfortable getting in the water), and keep both children engaged (playing outdoors, creating age-appropriate activities, etc.), and help them with their homework. Mom works from home. MUST LOVE PETS (family has a dog, cat, and guiena pig). The ideal candidate will be great with children, easygoing, and diligent.

**This position will start on 7/6/2026**

This is a long-term position for 4-5 days and between 32-32.5 hours per week

Work days and hours:

Option 1 (preferred): 4 days a week (family is flexible on the 4 days as long as it is during the week): 8:30am-4:30pm (give or take 30 minutes—example: starting 30 minutes earlier and ending 30 minutes earlier or starting 30 minutes later and ending 30 minutes later)

Option 2: Monday-Friday (during the summer start time will be between 8:30am-10am—family will let the Nanny know ahead of time what the schedule will be for the week) and all shifts will be 6.5 hours long (32.5 hours per week). School year schedule will be: Monday-Friday: 10am-4:30pm

NOTE: Nanny-Household Manager must be an experienced driver. Family will provide car for Nanny to use.

Salary: $30 per hour

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, 6 national holidays, and 5 sick days
