FULL-TIME NANNY-MOTHER'S HELPER needed in ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL 60005

This loving and active family has 1 child: 2-year-old boy and another baby due in June and is seeking a reliable, engaging and helpful Nanny-Mother's Helper to stay with them long-term. Mom stays home so Nanny must be comfortable with her being around and being flexible on how the day will looks (primarily  with older child to start sometimes with baby, sometimes with both, sometimes more household tasks, etc). Duties include: toddler care, get child ready for the day, prepare snacks/meals for child, engaging in developmentally appropriate activities with children, sing songs, read books, play outside, play games, take to parks, playgrounds, library, museums, etc., help with newborn as needed (diapers, naps, feeding, etc.), wash/sterilize bottles, load/unload dishwasher, tidy up common areas, wiping down surfaces, vacuuming common areas as needed (ex: after mealtime, etc.), laundry, running errands as needed, organizational projects, grocery shopping and meal preparation. The family values early childhood education, so they would love someone who is intentional about incorporating learning into play and supporting developmental milestones in a fun and age-appropriate way. The ideal candidate will be energetic, warm and dependable. 

This is a long-term position for 5 days and 40 hours a week.

Work days and hours:

Monday-Friday: 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm

NOTE: Some flexibility here/there on the schedule as needed 

NOTE: Some driving will be needed and can use own car or family car. 

Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor
