FULL-TIME NANNY needed in CLARENDON HILLS, IL 60514

This loving family has 1 child: 18 month old boy and is seeking a reliable, engaging and reliable Nanny to stay with their family for many years. Duties include: toddler care (diapers, feeding, naps), prepare healthy snacks and meals for child, play and engage in developmentally appropriate activities, read books, sing songs, play games, play outside, arts and crafts, take to parks, playgrounds, library, museums, playdates, swimming, etc., have child help with some chores, child's laundry, tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher and let dog out as needed. Family hopes to have another baby down the road, so is looking for someone who is comfortable watching two children and who will stay long-term. The family follows montessori principles and does not do screen time. The ideal candidate will be patient, loving and active. 

NOTE: Grandparents stay with them at times so nanny must be comfortable with them around during those times.

Work days and hours:

Parents are physicians and schedule changes week to week. Typically one week is more hours (50-60 hours/week) and the following is less. The schedule will average out to 40 hours/week. Hours will typically be M-F and hours can be between 6am-6pm. 

*NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver, family will provide a car to drive children to/from school and activities and to run family errands.

Salary: $25-$30 per hour

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, 6 national holidays, 5 sick days.
