Full-time Housekeeper Jobs

FULL-TIME HOUSEKEEPER-HOUSEHOLD MANAGER needed in CHICAGO, IL 60610 (GOLD COAST)

This friendly and professional family of 3 is seeking a positive, experienced and flexible Housekeeper-Household Manager to stay with them for many years. Duties include: Deep clean and maintain the large home (10,000 square feet/5 floors) (clean regularly used rooms, and less used rooms on a schedule), tidy up/put things back where they belong, load/empty dishwasher, clean stove, oven, fridge, etc., make beds, change bed linens, clean windows, polish silverware, accept deliveries, laundry, ironing (children's clothes and bedsheets), and occasional errands. Parents will typically be in/out of the home. There is also a Nanny in the home that cares for their 3 year old child. The main responsibility is housekeeping/household management but having someone comfortable around children/being flexible to help out very rarely would be a big plus! The ideal candidate will take initiative, be an excellent communicator, reliable and a team-player. 

This is a long-term position for 5 days and 40 hours a week

Work days and hours:

Monday-Friday: 8am - 4pm

*Flexibility to help out with extra hours when they have parties (on occasion) 

*Driving not needed. 


Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor (Based on experience)

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, 6 national holidays, 3 sick days.
