PART-TIME HOUSEKEEPER-COOK-HOUSEHOLD MANAGER needed in CHICAGO, IL 60647 (Logan Square)

This easygoing family of 4 is seeking an independent, discrete, and committed Housekeeper-Cook-Household Manager to stay with their family long-term. Duties include: deep clean and maintain the 3,200 square foot home, meal plan/prep (chop veggies, get ingredients together, put together easy meals that can be reheated (examples: enchiladas, sheet pan dinners, ground chicken in a taco sauce, BBQ chicken ranch salads, etc.), and laundry. Cleaning, cooking/meal prep, and laundry are the main duties. Additional duties when there is time: grocery shopping, run errands, take car in for maintenance services, help keep things organized, and feed/let dog out in the backyard if parents are not there. Both parents mostly work from home. The ideal candidate will be confident/capable in the kitchen, dedicated, and take initiative.

This is a part-time position for 3-5 days and between 15-20 hours per week

Work days and hours  

Option 1 (preference): Monday-Friday (flexible on start/end times as long as they are between the hours of 8am-6pm)

Option 2: 3 days per week (flexible on days as long as they are during the week and not all 3 days can be in a row) (flexible on start/end times as long as they are between the hours of 8am-6pm)—if candidate chooses this option, candidate must prepare meals for the 2 days that they will not be there for the family to be able to reheat

NOTE: Candidate must be able to drive. Family will provide car for candidate to use. If candidate takes own car to/from work there is free street parking available.

Salary: TO BE DISCUSSED WITH PLACEMENT COUNSELOR
