FULL-TIME NEWBORN NANNY needed in CHICAGO , IL 60611 (STREETERVILLE)

This busy and loving family has 1 child: newborn baby girl and is seeking a highly experienced, safe and attentive Newborn Nanny to stay with their family long-term. Duties include: newborn care (diapers, feeding, naptime), prepare bottles, wash/sterilize bottles, prepare solids when baby is old enough, play and engage in several developmentally appropriate activities to ensure baby is meeting milestones (ex: tummy time, etc.), read books, sing songs,  take baby on walks when older, baby's laundry, tidy up common areas and load/unload dishwasher. Nanny should be very clean/sanitary--wash handles, washing/sterilizing bottles, pacifiers, toys, etc., very attentive (responding to baby right away when she cries; does not do cry it out) and safe. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable with newborn/infants, be happy and takes direction well from the parents. 

Work days and hours:

Monday-Friday: 7:30am-6pm (52.5 hours/week)

Note: Driving is not needed. However, parking is available if Nanny needs it. 


Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor--based on experience

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, 6 national holidays, 3 sick days.

Family has no pets.
