PART-TIME PRIVATE CHEF needed in WINNETKA, IL 60093

Family of 5 is seeking an experienced, reliable and communicative Private Chef to stay with their family long-term. Duties include: plan meals, grocery shopping (chef can do the shopping or provide a list to the family), prepare lunches for parents on the weekdays the chef is there, prepare lunches for the whole family on the weekend day that the chef is there, prepare dinner for the whole family on the days the chef comes + additional food to cover lunches/dinners for the days the chef is off and clean up after cooking.  Meals should be healthy, low-sugar, low-carb and of a variety. Since the family has 3 children, part of the meal should be tailored to be more kid-friendly. Mom is dairy-free. Family enjoys a variety of meals but Asian cuisine is their favorite, so someone who is comfortable/experienced cooking Asian cuisine would be a big plus! Some examples of meals they like: proteins (meatballs, chicken, salmon, etc.), veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, etc.), etc. Chef must have prior experience as a Private Chef working for a family with children, have a knowledge of a variety of cooking styles and be open to feedback. Occasional cooking/serving for parties would be a big plus with advanced notice! Parent works from home and there is a Nanny in the home. 

 Work days and hours:

Option 1: 3 days per week. 1 day must be a weekend day (Sat or Sun). Flexible on # of hours and start/end times. 

Option 2: 4 days per week. 1 day must be a weekend day (Sat or Sun). Flexible on # of hours and start/end times. 



Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor

Benefits: 1 week paid vacation, national holidays and 3 sick days 

Family has 2 dogs--small Mini Australian Shepherds
