High-End Nanny Jobs

FULL-TIME NANNY needed in LIBERTYVILLE , IL 60048

This friendly family has 1 child: 4-month-old baby boy and is seeking an attentive, loving and engaging Nanny to stay with their family for many years. Duties include: infant care (diapers, feeding, naps, etc.), prepare bottles, wash/sterilize bottles, prepare solids when he is old enough, play and engage in several developmentally appropriate activities with baby, read books, sing songs, go outside, take baby out to explore and socialize (ex: parks, playgrounds, classes, library, museums, etc.), tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher, baby's laundry, and if time allows--extra tasks such as washing linens, occasional errands and starting dinner--washing/chopping veggies, throwing a pre-prepared meal in the oven or crockpot, etc. would be a big plus, but not a must! The ideal candidate will be gentle, creative and proactive with coming up with activities and places to take child and easy to communicate with. Family would like a Nanny who is very gentle and follows their parenting philosophy--very attentive to his needs, no crying it out, talking through feelings, etc.  Mom works from home 1-2 days per week. Nanny must have infant experience and must be knowledgeable in early childhood education (what milestones to expect/what baby should be working on at each stage). Family hopes to have more children in the future so is hoping to have the Nanny stay with them for many years.

**NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver, family will provide a car to drive child to/from activities. 

Work days and hours:

Monday: 7:30am - 4pm

Tuesday: 7:30am - 5pm

Wednesday: 7:30am - 4pm

Thursday: 7:30am - 4pm

Friday: 7:30am - 3pm

NOTE: Some flexibility on the end time for Tue-Thur--can end between 4-5pm would be +

Salary: To be discussed with Placement Counselor--dependent on experience--AFTER TAXES

Benefits: 3 weeks paid vacation (trying to align with family's), 6 national holidays, 5 sick days.
