AFTER-SCHOOL NANNY needed in PARK RIDGE, IL 60068
This friendly family has 1 child: 13 year old boy and is seeking a happy, punctual and creative part-time Nanny to stay with them long-term. Child has moderate Autism so keeping a daily schedule for him is very important for predictability of his day. Special needs experience would be a plus, but not a must. Duties include: pick up child from school, drive to/from after-school activities, take to parks, playgrounds, activities, zoo, library, etc., come up with fun activities to do with child based off of his interests, tidy up common areas, load/unload dishwasher and child's laundry (if time allows). Nanny should be creative to come up with things to do with him based on his interests The ideal Nanny will be reliable, very warm, caring and understanding.
Work days and hours:
Monday-Friday: 2:30pm-6:30pm
**Slight flexibility on start/end times on occasion
NOTE: Nanny must be an experienced driver. Nanny will have to use his/her car to drive child to/from school and activities and will get compensated for mileage.
Salary: Salary to be discussed with Placement Counselor-based on experience--TAKE HOME
Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, 6 national holidays, 5 sick days.
