Part-time Housekeeper Jobs

PART-TIME HOUSEKEEPER needed in CHICAGO, IL 60611 (GOLD COAST) AND GLENCOE, IL 60022

This busy couple has 2 homes--1 in Glencoe and 1 in Gold Coast and is seeking an experienced, trustworthy and reliable Housekeeper or 2 Housekeepers to stay with them long-term. 

Home 1 (Primary Residence in Chicago): 7,000 square foot home --an older Brownstone home--lots of stairs--4 story home

Home 2 (Weekend Home-in Glencoe): 7,000 square foot home--completely new construction home

Duties include: Deep clean (main living areas regularly and less used rooms on a schedule) the homes, make beds, change linens, laundry-linens, accept home deliveries/let contractors in as needed and seasonal cleaning--patio in the summer, etc. One of the homes has a lot of marble in it, so Housekeeper must know how to care for that material. The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented and discrete. 

Work days and hours: 

Option 1 24-32 hours/week (Cleaning Both Homes--in Chicago and Glencoe) : 4 days per week--2 days at the Glencoe home and 2 days at the Chicago home. Days that can be worked at Chicago home: Mon,Fri,Sat,Sun. Days that can be worked at Glencoe home: any weekday. 6-8 hours per day. Flexible on start/end times. 

Option 2:

Housekeeper for Chicago Home: 2-3 days per week. 6-8 hours each day. Possible days: Mon, Fri, Sat, Sun (Can pick 2-3 of these days). Start/end times flexible

Option 3: 

Housekeeper for Glencoe Home: 2 days per week. 6-8 hours each day. Any 2 weekdays. Flexible on the start/end times. 

Salary: To be discussed directly with Placement Counselor--based on experience--BEFORE TAXES

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, 8 national holidays, 5 sick days.
