Full-time Housekeeper Jobs

PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME HOUSEHOLD MANAGER-SENIOR COMPANION needed in WHEATON, IL 60187

This friendly senior is seeking a patient, organized and friendly Household Manager-Companion to stay with him long-term. Duties include: cleaning the home, tidying up, dishes, running errands, meal preparation and cooking simple meals, driving him to/from appointments, laundry, general companionship--talking with him about several of his interests, going with him to museums, lunch on walks, etc., organizational projects, he can take his medicine on his own--but helping him get it organized, setting up reminders, etc., sort mail, accept deliveries, schedule home repairs, maintenance services, etc., maintain his calendar and set appointments/make reservations. He enjoys talking about world events, history, facts, etc., so someone who enjoys the same interests and enjoys talking would be a great fit! The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, reliable and enjoys cooking. 

Work Days and Hours:

Option 1 (24-32 hours/week): 4 days per week for 6-8 hours per day. Flexible on the 4 weekdays and flexible on start/end times.

Option 2 (30-40 hours/week): 5 days per week for 6-8 hours per day. Flexible on the start/end times. Monday-Friday. 

NOTE: Driving is needed. Can use his car for appointments and candidate's vehicle for errands.  

Salary: Salary to be discussed, based on experience---BEFORE TAXES

Benefits: 2 weeks paid vacation, 6 national holidays and 3 sick days
